My Travels Word Puzzle — a mobile game by ClarksFlight

Need a hand?
Email clarksflight@gmail.com and I'll get back to you. The game is made by one person, so replies usually come within a couple of days — sooner if I'm not flying.
It helps enormously if you can tell me your device (for example "iPhone 15"), the level number, and what happened.
Swipe across the letter wheel at the bottom of the screen to connect letters into a word. Let go and, if the word belongs in the grid, it fills in.
Any real word you can spell from the letters counts as a bonus word, even if it isn't part of the crossword.
Every five levels completes a chapter and reveals the photograph behind it, alongside the place it was taken.
Two kinds, and each one costs a hint from your total:
Progress is saved on your device, not on a server, so it doesn't follow you between phones and it is removed if you delete the game. There is no account to sign into and no way for me to restore it from my end. If progress vanished without you deleting anything, email me — that's a bug and I want to know about it.
The game uses a fixed English dictionary, and it doesn't contain every word — proper nouns, abbreviations and very obscure words are usually missing. Send me the word and the level number and I'll look at adding it.
Every level has been checked, but if a grid looks broken or a word can't be entered, email me the level number and a screenshot. Fixes go out in the next update.
Not at the moment. The game has no in-app purchases at all. There is a small banner along the bottom of the screen, and videos you can choose to watch for an extra hint — no pop-up ads, nothing full-screen interrupting play, and nothing between levels.
Yes. The puzzles work with no connection. You need one only to load ads, so watching a video for an extra hint won't be available on a plane.
Usually a connection problem, or there simply isn't a video available at that moment. Check your connection and try again shortly. If it never loads over several days, email me.
The game has no accounts and collects no personal information of its own. The full policy is at clarksflight.com/mytravels.
All 100 photographs in the game were taken by me on layovers. If there's somewhere you'd like to see in an update, send it along — I fly to a lot of places.
